Terms for businesses

These terms add to the CarsCentrum terms of use. They apply to garages, dealers, rental companies, leasing companies and other businesses that publish offers on CarsCentrum ("businesses"). They follow EU Regulation 2019/1150 on relations between online platforms and business users.

1. The service

CarsCentrum connects businesses with buyers and renters. With a business profile you can publish sale, rental and leasing listings, have a seller page with your logo, contact details and all your listings, receive messages and requests from your customers and answer buyback requests.

2. Prices

During the launch period, the service is completely free.

If paid offers (subscription, promotion) are introduced later, their content and price will be clearly shown before any order. Nothing is owed without an order from you.

3. Your commitments

Be a registered business and give correct details: company name, address and registration number (trade register or equivalent).

Only publish real, available offers with a correct price, and remove them as soon as they are no longer available.

Follow the rules of your trade: consumer information, warranties, advertising for credit and leasing (annual percentage rate and representative example), fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions of new vehicles.

4. How listings are ranked

With the default sort ("Relevance"), featured listings appear first. The others follow from newest to oldest, by date of publication, bump or renewal.

Buyers can also sort by price, mileage, year or "Best deals" (gap between the asking price and the estimated value).

There is no other way to pay for a better position. The "Featured" and "Bump" options are always labelled as such.

5. The "Verified dealer" badge

CarsCentrum may check that your business exists in the official register (in Luxembourg: Luxembourg Business Registers). The "Verified dealer" badge only means that the business exists and its identity matches. It guarantees neither the condition of the vehicles nor the quality of the services.

6. Removal, suspension and termination

If a listing or profile breaks these terms or the law, CarsCentrum may remove the listing or suspend the profile. You receive the reason no later than when the decision takes effect.

Before permanently closing a business account, we notify you at least 30 days in advance, with the reason. This notice does not apply in case of fraud, illegal content, legal obligations or repeated breaches.

You can challenge any decision by writing to us. We review your case again and reply to you.

7. Changes to these terms

We inform you of any change at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you can delete your profile at any time, free of charge.

8. Data

You find your listings, messages and requests in "My listings".

CarsCentrum uses listing data only to run the service and to calculate anonymous market statistics (for example the average price of a model).

Customer details are only passed to the business concerned. They are never sold or used for other purposes.

9. Complaints

For any complaint, write to us at the contact address below. We usually reply within 7 days.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Luxembourg law.
